The coffee is grown in the high-altitude regions of Sumatra, specifically in the province of Aceh and the surrounding areas. This is a clean Lintong coffee. Local farmers use the wet-hulling process, or Giling Basah, a method that sets Sumatran coffees apart from others. This technique involves removing the outer skin of the coffee cherry before the beans are fully dried.
Tasting notes: A nice, earthy aroma, creamy, big body, and notes of dark chocolate, honey, and black pepper. Substantial mouthfeel and a pleasant lingering aftertaste.
