This Rwanda Organic bean comes from the volcanic area in the Northern Province of the country.   The term "Abakundakawa" means 'those who love coffee', and it is a local cooperative founded in 1999 offering one of the best beans in Rwanda.  The Hingakawa Women's Association is also a part of Abakundakawa. These women have organized themselves into empowerment organizations and are helping Rwanda women in the country.

Tasting Notes:  You will find hints of pineapple, lemon verbena, grapefruit, berry, and a honey sweetness in the coffee.

~14 ounce bag  (medium roast or dark roast)  About enough for a 12 cup pot a day, for one week.
